Take a stress management class
Find a hobby you enjoy
Play with a pet
Rehearse how you’ll handle a stressful situation before it happens
Keep your sense of humor; laughter is the best medicine
Ride your bike
Work in the garden or visit a city garden or the arboretum
Look out the window
Write a letter to a friend you haven’t written to in awhile
Plan your next day
Get a good night’s sleep
Take a long, healthy lunch with a good friend
Do something impromptu – off the cuff – spur of the moment and positive!
